This position is for a General Manager in Training. Ideal candidates should have previous General Manager experience. A background in quick service restaurants is strongly desired, or experience in hospitality or retail. You must be 18 years or older for this position.

If you do not have previous General Manager experience, please consider applying for the Department Manager, Shift Leader, Maintenance, or Crew position.

Responsibilities

• Run a profitable restaurant and meet McDonald’s quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
• Work with leadership to set goals and create plans to achieve them.
• Lead a team of Department Managers, set their goals, follow up on progress, and coach and direct them.
• Manage all aspects of the restaurant: profit, food production, scheduling, guest experience, and direct crew and manager responsibilities.
• Lead and manage people processes: recruiting, hiring, onboarding, performance management, training, coaching, and motivation.
• Make critical business decisions on inventory, budgets, and food ordering/costs.
• Ensure food safety measures meet McDonald’s standards of excellence.
• Maintain high safety standards for guests and employees.
• Oversee maintenance plans to meet and exceed standards of excellence.
