Job Overview:

The General Manager in Training Program (“GMIT”) is designed to develop highly qualified college graduates and/or successful management individuals interested in retail store management. You will be mentored by a seasoned General Manager, guiding you through a 90-day on-the-job training program. Upon completion, you will transition into a store manager or senior assistant store manager role.

Responsibilities:

• Learn store operations, sales plans, profit margins, payroll, and expenses (P&L).
• Assist with water analysis and mechanical repairs.
• Increase sales, customer count, and improve customer service.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Identify and assist in recruiting new talent.
• Maintain a welcoming store environment.
• Assist with merchandising and inventory control.
• Handle opening and closing responsibilities, including daily bank deposits.
• Communicate clearly and diplomatically.
• Collaborate with team members and management.
• Adapt to changing priorities effectively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or 3 years retail management/military experience.
• Minimum age of 20.
• Excellent communication skills and computer proficiency.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to relocate after training for a management role.
