DHL Supply Chain is seeking a General Manager III to lead warehouse operations across a broad network. You will guide strategy, drive cost optimization, and manage safety, quality, and customer relationships in a high-volume distribution environment.

With 500+ facilities and over 50,000 associates in North America, you’ll shape processes, mentor managers, and ensure top-tier service while meeting financial targets and safety standards. A bachelor’s degree and strong leadership are required.

Qualificações

• 5+ years managerial/supervisory experience.
• 2+ years experience in a supply chain, warehousing or distribution environment.
• Experience in Third Party Logistics (3PL) and/or Contract Logistics preferred.
• Staff management required.
• P&L management preferred.
• Project management preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• WMS experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods efficiently and accurately.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse processes, minimize costs, and maximize productivity.
• Lead and motivate a team of Operations Managers and staff, providing coaching, guidance, and support while developing a strong team culture.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, overseeing activities to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient environment.
• Utilize WMS, automation and technology to track inventory, monitor performance metrics, and identify improvement areas.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure cost-effective services and supplies under the commercial agreement.
• Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and other metrics for decision-making.
• Lead customer relationships with close daily contact to ensure satisfaction.
• Responsible for the site's P&L influenced by customer relationships.
• Prepare and present Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews to customers leveraging team collaboration.

Job Description

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse processes, minimize costs, and maximize productivity.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, and oversee operational and personnel activities in the facility to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), automation and other technology to track inventory, monitor performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage vendor relationships, and ensure cost-effective services and supplies while managing the site in accordance with the commercial agreement.
• Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead customer relationships by maintaining close daily contact to ensure strong connections and customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for the site's profit and loss (P&L), which is directly influenced by customer relationships.
• Prepare and present Monthly/Quarterly Business Review (MBR/QBR) to customer, leveraging strong team collaboration.
