Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a General Manager III to oversee warehouse operations in the United States. You will lead a large team, drive strategies to optimize processes, reduce costs, and boost productivity while ensuring safety and compliance.

Responsibilities include managing day-to-day warehouse activities, optimizing workflows with WMS and automation, and maintaining strong customer relationships. You will drive the site’s P&L and report progress through regular MBEs/QBRs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managerial/supervisory experience required.
• 2+ years of experience in a supply chain, warehousing or distribution environment required.
• Experience in Third Party Logistics (3PL) and/or Contract Logistics preferred.
• Staff management required.
• P&L management preferred.
• Project management preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• WMS experience preferred.

• Utilize WMS, automation and other technology to track inventory and monitor performance metrics.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure cost-effective services while managing the site per the commercial agreement.
• Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels and other key metrics.
• Lead customer relationships by maintaining daily contact to ensure satisfaction.
• Responsible for the site's profit and loss (P&L).
• Prepare and present Monthly/Quarterly Business Review to customers leveraging team collaboration.

The General Manager III role has a national salary range of $95,000 - $120,000.

• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), automation and other technology to track inventory, monitor performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage vendor relationships, and ensure cost-effective services and supplies while managing the site in accordance with the commercial agreement.
• Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead customer relationships by maintaining close daily contact to ensure strong connections and customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for the site's profit and loss (P&L), which is directly influenced by customer relationships.
• Prepare and present Monthly/Quarterly Business Review (MBR/QBR) to customer, leveraging strong team collaboration.
