Qualifications

• 5+ years managerial/supervisory experience.
• 2+ years in a supply chain, warehousing or distribution environment.
• 3PL and/or Contract Logistics experience preferred.
• Staff management experience is required.
• P&L management experience preferred.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred.
• WMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods efficiently and accurately.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse processes, minimize costs, and maximize productivity.
• Lead and motivate a team of Operations Managers and staff, providing coaching, guidance, and support while developing a strong team culture.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, and oversee activities to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient environment.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), automation and other technology to track inventory, monitor performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure cost-effective services and supplies while aligning with the commercial agreement.
• Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics to inform decision-making.
• Lead customer relationships by maintaining close daily contact to ensure strong connections and satisfaction.
• Responsible for the site’s profit and loss (P&L), influencing outcomes through customer relationships.
• Prepare and present Monthly/Quarterly Business Review (MBR/QBR) to customers, leveraging team collaboration.

The General Manager III role has a national salary range of $95,000 - $120,000.

Required Education and Experience
