Job summary

Community Choice Financial® Family of Brands is seeking a General Manager for CheckSmart in Cincinnati, OH. You will lead daily operations, coach a team, manage risk, and drive revenue through strong customer service and community engagement.

You will oversee staff performance, scheduling, and adherence to company standards, while delivering an exceptional shopping experience in a high-paced retail finance environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years’ supervisory/leadership experience in retail, finance, or related industries.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with phones, POS, and Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle to use during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations to meet/exceed performance standards.
• Coach and develop team to grow business and ensure compliance.
• Identify local marketing opportunities and build community partnerships.
• Manage loan/pawn processes and assess risk within limits.
• Oversee cash handling, security, and loss prevention.
• Schedule staff in alignment with budget and store needs.
• Ensure in-store cleanliness and proper merchandising.
