Arcis Golf seeks a General Manager for Hunt Valley Country Club to lead the entire operation, drive profitability, and elevate guest experiences. The role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, initiative, and collaboration with teams to achieve goals.

The General Manager oversees golf operations, F&B, sales, merchandising, and agronomy, while building a strong staff and maintaining compliance with programs and laws. Leadership and strategic planning are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in golf, service or hospitality preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability.
• Ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
• Effective relationship building and team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct all departments including golf operations, food and beverage, sales, merchandising, and agronomy.
• Partner with Corporate Revenue, Sales and Marketing to execute programming, marketing plans, and pricing strategies.
• Create and execute short-term and long-term operational and financial plans for the club.
• Responsible for selection, development, leadership and retention of staff.
• Ensure compliance with national programs and internal controls across the club.
• Monitor forecast and results daily/weekly and adjust to hit targets.
• Ensure staff delivers excellent guest service and respond to surveys with action plans.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
