Five Iron Golf is the country's premier indoor golf and entertainment experience, with 30 locations nationwide and more on the way. Our mission is to seamlessly blend golf and entertainment, making golf inclusive and accessible for all.

Role Overview: We are seeking a General Manager of Performance. This individual will oversee the guest's golf journey, demonstrate proficiency with golf simulators and equipment, and drive revenue through golf-specific offerings such as memberships, lessons, and leagues. The role requires strong leadership, community engagement, and operational management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Hire, train, and manage golf staff, including Assistant General Manager of Performance
• Manage P&L for golf and retail offerings, achieving revenue targets
• Coordinate with the Director of Instruction to meet lesson and fitting revenue goals
• Set service standards and evaluate staff performance
• Build community relationships, foster loyalty, and encourage repeat business
• Ensure guest satisfaction and address concerns promptly
• Maintain golf simulator technology and equipment quality
• Manage inventory of golf equipment and supplies
• Acquire comprehensive knowledge of products and services to promote cross-selling
• Organize member events and engage with local golf associations
• Communicate effectively with corporate and community stakeholders
• Provide excellent account management from onboarding to termination
• Ensure food and beverage quality and compliance with health and safety regulations

Qualifications:

• Passion for golf
• 5+ years in hospitality, golf, or sports management preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of golf technology (swing analysis, launch monitors)
• Energetic, positive attitude, and customer-focused
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and at high-value times

Job Details: Full-time, Exempt; Salary: $60,000 + bonus potential ($15,600/year); Opportunities for additional earnings through lessons and clubfitting.
