Job summary

CapstoneONE Search is seeking a General Manager to lead a major U.S. manufacturing operation with full P&L ownership for a site nearing 1,000 employees and over $1B in annual revenue.

The role oversees Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, Maintenance, EHS, and HR, driving safety, quality, delivery, cost, and strategic performance. The GM will build leadership capability, develop strategic and annual plans, and ensure customer commitments are met while guiding a large

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience at a large, complex site or multi-functional operation.
• Proven experience owning a substantial manufacturing P&L and translating objectives into measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Own full site P&L and drive performance across revenue, profitability, cash flow, working capital, operating cost, productivity, capital investment, and ROA.
• Lead and develop a senior cross-functional leadership team with clear priorities and accountability.
• Develop and execute strategic and annual operating plans, including budgeting, forecasting, capacity planning, and performance against metrics.
• Drive manufacturing excellence across safety, quality, delivery, productivity, cost, and continuous improvement.
• Evaluate capacity, equipment, technology, and infrastructure; lead capital deployment for growth and modernization.
• Serve as senior site interface with executive leadership and customers, leading reviews and resolving issues.
