Weber & Schaer, a leading distributor of rubber, latex, chemicals, and plastic additives, is a traditional medium-sized family business based in Germany since 1844. We've recently expanded to the US to meet increasing North American demand.

Position Summary

We're hiring a Business Support Manager to help drive our growth in North America. This position requires discipline, experience, and initiative, with strong multitasking and teamwork skills.

Ideal candidates have experience in the rubber/polymer industry, knowledge of logistics, supply chain, & documentation, and a focus on outstanding customer support.

Key Activities

• Handling and scheduling incoming shipments
• Managing inventories, customer planning, and forwarding
• Participating in warehousing, haulage, and freight rate calculations for order placement
• Preparing shipping documents and export/import paperwork
• Coordinating among suppliers, customers, warehouses, and service providers
• Verifying invoices and import documentation
• Collaborating closely with colleagues at the German headquarters

Core Competences

• A minimum of five years’ experience is required in logistics processes such as cargo forwarding and clearing, order processing and fulfillment, and managing customer supply chains.
• Knowledge of SAP Sales & Distribution and Materials Management Modules would be an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems is essential.
• Candidates should have strong problem-solving skills and demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot issues and develop solutions quickly.
• Excellent communication skills are needed for interacting with both customers and internal teams.
• Experience in B2B customer service, or exposure to similar roles, is highly valued.
• The ideal candidate is proactive and demonstrates an entrepreneurial mindset.
