Key Purpose
This position is responsible for ensuring all functions, initiatives, and priorities support the customer’s overall business strategy. It oversees the effective and efficient functioning of operations within established guidelines, driving continuous improvement, performance optimization, and compliance with contract obligations using ISS Guckenheimer standard processes and concepts. The General Manager also identifies and leverages innovative initiatives and best practices.

Ideal Candidate Experience
- Minimum 3 years food service management, preferably corporate dining
- Experience managing teams of 20+ employees
- Proven leadership in hospitality management
- Positive, dependable under pressure, motivational leadership
- Passion for hospitality, innovation, and creativity
- Strong coaching, safety, budgeting, and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in Google Docs, MS Office, and client interaction experience
- Ability to work independently and in a team in a dynamic environment
- Manager ServSafe Certified or ability to obtain certification immediately
- Graduate of an accredited Culinary or Hospitality program preferred
- Union environment management experience is a plus
Key Accountabilities
- Deliver high-quality, cost-effective food service meeting program expectations
- Develop menus aligned with client needs
- Hire and train staff according to regulations
- Support training and development programs
- Maintain accurate financial records and forecasts
- Ensure sanitary and safe operations following health regulations
- Establish effective communication with clients and customers
- Manage procurement, inventory, and supply chain processes
- Supervise and schedule staff, conduct performance reviews
- Review budgets and financials with the Area Manager
- Prioritize safety for all stakeholders

- Lift a minimum of 25 lbs

ISS offers comprehensive benefits, and the annual salary range is $90,000 - $100,000, based on experience.
