CycleBar General Manager Job Description

CycleBar is seeking a General Manager for our state-of-the-art location in Troy. Our General Managers are passionate about fitness and delivering a superior experience. They focus on driving sales and revenue within the studio.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Meeting studio sales goals, membership renewals, and ancillary service goals through strategic outreach, in-club leads, and member referrals.
  2. Building lasting relationships with prospective and current members to foster ambassadorship and retention.
  3. Leading generation activities including grassroots marketing and networking.
  4. Managing staff schedules and supervising the CBX teams.
  5. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the studio.
  6. Participating in community events and studio promotions.
  7. Managing marketing campaigns to generate leads.
  8. Coaching and training team members on hospitality and sales conversion tactics.
  9. Working with the studio owner on setting targets and driving referral business.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2+ years of retail/service sales or fitness sales experience.
  • Ability to generate personal sales and train sales reps.
  • Managing memberships and retail revenue streams.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, diverse environment and adapt to change.
  • Passion for fitness and a strong customer service orientation.
  • Proficiency with computers and studio software.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Trustworthy, reliable, and professional.
  • Ability to handle confidential information and work harmoniously with others.
