Job summary

Software Placement Group is seeking a General Manager to lead a Wisconsin corrugated box manufacturing facility. This role carries full responsibility for performance and profitability, guiding safety, quality, and strategic execution.

You will drive plant profitability, implement business plans, and lead continuous improvement while collaborating with sales to identify growth opportunities and ensure KPI achievement across operations.

Qualifications

• Box (cardboard) conversion experience with corrugator machine experience.
• Paper to box conversion background required; other sectors excluded.
• 5+ years of progressive management experience.
• Minimum of 3 years in an industry segment management role.
• Experience with budget/financial management and KPI tracking.
• Proven project management and results in production efficiency, overhead, safety and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Drive plant profitability while meeting safety and quality standards.
• Develop and implement business plans aligned with company goals.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives tied to strategy.
• Build partnerships with commercial teams and key accounts.
• Oversee production improvements to achieve efficiency targets.
