Job summary

Georgia-Pacific in San Leandro is seeking a General Manager to lead the Corrugated Packaging business, owning the plant's success and profitability. You will develop and execute business strategies while directly guiding our commercial sales and customer service teams across multiple facilities, reporting to the Area General Manager.

Location: San Leandro, CA with 20% travel and relocation available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing with 5+ years in a managerial leadership role in sales or operations.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and coach teams.
• Experience managing profit and loss (P&L) statements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own the plant's P&L and overall profitability.
• Directly lead commercial sales and customer service teams across multiple facilities.
• Drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage budgets, commercial processes, and client interactions.
• Develop the commercial vision, strategy, and organizational direction.
