Job summary

Vaden Automotive is expanding and seeking an experienced General Manager to join our Domestic Division in an operational leadership capacity. This role drives performance, accountability, and profitability across all departments.

The GM will lead strategic initiatives, build high-performing teams, ensure compliance, manage inventory, and partner with marketing to execute brand strategies while maintaining the highest standards of service and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of operational leadership within a domestic franchise environment.
• General Manager experience: 5 years.
• Automotive general management experience: 3 years.
• Proven track record in managing dealership operations, personnel structure, and financial performance.
• Strong knowledge of factory programs, inventory controls, and compliance standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Pre-employment testing including background checks and MVR required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee dealership operations across all departments to maximize performance and profitability.
• Build, structure, and develop high-performing leadership teams.
• Ensure compliance with factory requirements, legal standards, and accounting controls.
• Drive inventory management strategies aligned with market demand and manufacturer objectives.
• Partner with marketing and leadership teams to execute effective sales and brand strategies.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics to ensure operational success.
• Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
• Inspire and motivate department leaders to exceed expectations and deliver strong results.
