Job summary

City of Cleveland Heights is seeking a General Manager for Cain Park, overseeing operations, programming, facilities, and staff to deliver performances and events safely, efficiently, and within budget.

You will lead recruitment, scheduling, and evaluation of staff, coordinate with city departments, and ensure high levels of customer service and operational excellence across multiple venues and events.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of theatrical equipment and performing arts operations.
• Experience in arts administration and festival programming.
• Understanding of ticketing systems and event operations.
• Knowledge of theatre auditions and production processes.
• Familiarity with public administration, public relations principles.
• Experience with municipal budgeting, accounting, finance and cost analysis.
• Ability to develop, administer, schedule and monitor programs/events.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to a multidisciplinary team.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, venues and facilities readiness.
• Develop and execute Cain Park’s annual season and programming.
• Oversee box office and ticketing operations.
• Coordinate marketing, public relations and promotional activities.
• Prepare and administer annual program budgets and financial reports.
• Build partnerships with City departments, artists, agents and vendors.
