Job Responsibilities

• Lead the shift team and set an example for all employees.
• Manage cost controls, inventory, cash control, and customer relations.
• Handle staffing, paperwork, and food management.
• Work according to schedule and maintain store cleanliness and appearance.
• Implement marketing efforts and ensure profitability.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain attendance & punctuality.

General Store Team Member Duties

• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record; access to an insured vehicle for delivery.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination and ability to use a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to navigate maps and deliver in varied terrain, including multi‑story buildings and private homes.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, walk, climb stairs, and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work in varying temperatures and in environments with food fumes, dust, and hot surfaces.

Work Conditions & Physical Demands

• Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions during delivery.
• In‑store temperatures ranging from 36 °F to 90 °F or higher in some work areas.
• Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, and moving mechanical parts.
• Standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, reaching, hand‑eye tasks, and using equipment.
• Specific duties include delivering pizzas by car, distributing flyers, and handling multiple deliveries per shift.

Orientation and training are provided on the job.
