Job summary

Horizon Hospitality Associates, Inc. seeks a seasoned General Manager to lead a premier private club in Virginia's mountains through its next phase of growth and transformation. You will be the face of the club, building strong member relationships and guiding the long-term vision.

We value hands-on leaders who mentor teams, elevate dining and hospitality experiences, and work closely with the board. This role offers a base salary of $140,000–$160,000, comprehensive health benefits, paid time

Qualifications

• Executive leadership experience as General Manager or equivalent in private clubs or luxury hospitality.
• Hands-on management style with strong member interaction and team development.
• Strong F&B leadership with a passion for dining and hospitality experiences.
• Financial expertise including budgeting, P&L, forecasting, and planning.
• Experience working with a Board or ownership group and advisory committees.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

As General Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for all aspects of the club.

What We're Looking For

• Executive leadership experience as a General Manager, Assistant General Manager, or Clubhouse Manager within a private club, country club, social club, or luxury hospitality environment.
• A proven leader with a visible, hands-on management style who enjoys interacting with members and developing exceptional teams.
• Strong food and beverage leadership with a passion for creating outstanding dining and hospitality experiences.
• Financial expertise including budgeting, P&L management, forecasting, and operational planning.
• Experience working collaboratively with a Board of Directors, ownership group, or advisory committee.
• Outstanding communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills with a commitment to creating a positive culture.
• Knowledge of golf operations and golf course maintenance is a plus.
• Base Salary: $140,000–$160,000 (commensurate with experience)
