Job summary

Planet Fitness in Troy, MI is seeking a General Manager to lead the club operations and create a welcoming, judgment-free environment for members. You will oversee staff, ensure top-notch member services, and drive profitability while maintaining a safe, clean facility.

As the leader, you will interview, hire, train, and schedule staff, manage promotions, and uphold Planet Fitness policies to deliver exceptional customer service and a positive club culture.

Responsibilities

• The General Manager is responsible for the entire operation and management of the Club, ensuring positive member experience, teamwork, and operational excellence.
• The General Manager always ensures excellence in Member Services by creating a welcoming environment.
• Interview, hire, and train new staff.
• Ensures proper staffing and coverage in the club based on business needs.
• Conducts all evaluations and performance reviews for all staff in the club.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and orderly club.
• Ensures club profitability and financial success.
• Ensures the safety and protection of the employees and members in the club and the entire club property.
• Handle timecard administration and properly follow all Planet Fitness policies and guidelines as they pertain to employee pay.
• Train staff on and execute local and national promotions.
