Job summary

Trulieve in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a General Manager to lead store operations, drive service standards, and manage inventory while ensuring regulatory compliance. The role requires oversight of a 40+ person team, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient experiences and maintaining brand standards.

The General Manager will partner with Area Manager and Retail leadership to meet performance metrics, coach staff, and optimize scheduling within the labor budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, four years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior management experience in retail and/or customer service is a plus
• Must have prior cash handling experience
• Must possess the ability to train, develop and evaluate a team of 40+ employees
• Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism to communicate with all levels of management and staff; uphold confidentiality and discretion
• Able to communicate in conversational English to work effectively with customers and team members, operate electronic equipment, comprehend safety procedures, and utilize telecommunication devices
• Proven ability to analyze data and draw appropriate conclusions to inform policies and procedures
• Ability to interact with customers and team members respectfully and politely

ROLE SUMMARY

TheGeneralManager will be responsible forleadership and supervision of store personnel, inventorytracking and management, achieving key performance metrics and ensuringtheefficientdailyoperations of the store.This role is responsible for ensuringregulatory compliancewhile deliveringexceptionalcustomer experience.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and implement strategies to drive service standards and positive sales results
• Maintain brand standards in visual merchandising
• Ensure consistent regulatory compliance with all state specific regulations
• Review, communicate and ensure compliance with all company SOPs and assure that any changes are communicated to employees
• Evaluate employee performance and identify hiring and training needs
• Provide coaching, training, and development to the team that is focused on company service standards and accountability to meet specific objectives
• Monitor and maintain store inventory
• Responsible for handling and resolving patient issues and escalations
• Maintain professional working relationships with business partners
• Schedule effectively within labor budget to meet the needs of the business

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

ADDITIONAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass a MVR background check (delivery locations only)
• Must be able to pass a level 1 and level 2 background check
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies
• Must be able to relate to and work with patrons of different ages, abilities, and patrons that at times are experiencing emotional distress, or displaying a hostile attitude

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is:

• Constantly required to move/traverse throughout entire facility, includingtightspaces
• Accurately communicate and exchange sensitive information and ideas with others, including members of the public; observe/inspect details at varying ranges; operate computing devices
• Frequently required to manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights (e.g., products, packaging, tools, office machinery): push/pull objects up to 50lbs; lift/carry/position objects up to 50lbs.; ascend/descend stool/ladder/steps; position self and/or objects at floor level (e.g., crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl)
• Must have visual and auditory acuity with or without aids to perform all functions of the position
• Occasionally required to remain in a seated position
