Job summary

Jenkins Restorations seeks a Restoration General Manager to oversee daily office operations, manage budgets, and supervise office and field staff in San Antonio. The role may include acting as Estimator and Project Manager for large losses, coordinating claims, and maintaining client relationships with insurers.

The GM will embody core values and lead program improvements, while ensuring safety, quality, and timely project delivery in a disaster-restoration setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university with strong academic achievement.
• 1–2 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine reports in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement office strategy with the management team and oversee budgeting.
• Review profit margins, cash collections, and handle concerns monthly.
• Supervise staffing and facilities, conduct annual performance reviews, and manage payroll
• Act as Estimator and/ or Project Manager for large losses when needed; support claims oversight
• Maintain client and insurance relations and coordinate field operations and communications
• Handle invoicing approvals and other duties as assigned

The Restoration General Manager reports to the District Director with accountability for providing excellent service for those who have been victims of disaster and for restoring property and lives with a servant’s heart. The Restoration General Manager is primarily responsible for managing the daily operations of the office, including direct oversight of office and field personnel. He/she will serve as Estimator and/or Project Manager of Large Claims as needed; and/or any other role needed for the branch’s health. A.) from four-year College or university with a record of strong academic achievement.Experience: At least one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.LANGUAGE SKILLS:The Restoration General Manager must possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Demonstrate the ability to write routine reports, correspondence, and the ability to speak effectively to customers and/or employees of organization in the English language.TECHNICAL SKILLS:To perform this job successfully, the Restoration General Manager should have knowledge of industry related software be able to “touch type” and be familiar with software like Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.); able to communicate via cell phone and appropriate apps.REASONING ABILITY:The Restoration General Manager should possess the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. They should also have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form in the English language.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
