Job summary

COREcruitment Ltd is partnered with an upscale Philadelphia restaurant seeking a General Manager to lead daily operations and guest experience. You’ll drive service excellence, coach a high-performing team, and partner with the Executive Chef to balance superb hospitality with financial performance.

You’ll be on the floor, building guest connections, managing budgets and KPIs, and ensuring health and safety standards across the venue. A strong hospitality-driven leader is required.

Qualifications

• General Manager experience in an upscale, full-service restaurant.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong financial acumen including labour management, budgeting, and P&L oversight.
• Hands-on leadership style with a strong presence on the restaurant floor.
• Experience building guest relationships and fostering hospitality culture.
• Solid understanding of restaurant operations, health & safety standards, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day restaurant operations and ensure seamless service.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing FOH team.
• Collaborate with Executive Chef to ensure front/back of house alignment.
• Monitor sales, budgets, and KPIs to drive profitability.
• Build relationships with regular guests and act as a visible ambassador.
