Job summary

COREcruitment, on behalf of an upscale Philadelphia restaurant, seeks a General Manager to lead daily operations on the restaurant floor, ensure outstanding guest service and drive profitability.

You will recruit, train, and mentor front-of-house teams, partner with the Executive Chef, manage budgets and KPIs, and build strong guest relationships. This role requires hands-on leadership and a passion for hospitality.

Qualifications

• Experience as General Manager in upscale, full-service restaurant.
• Proven ability to develop and coach teams.
• Strong financial acumen including budgeting and cost controls.

• Lead day-to-day restaurant operations and ensure seamless service.

What You''ll Be Doing:

• Leading all day-to-day restaurant operations and ensuring seamless service execution.
• Recruiting, hiring, training, and developing a high-performing front-of-house team.
• Working closely with the Executive Chef to ensure seamless collaboration between front and back of house.
• Monitoring sales performance, budgets, and KPIs to drive profitability.
• Building relationships with regular guests and becoming a visible ambassador for the restaurant.
• Handling guest concerns professionally and ensuring every guest leaves with a memorable experience.
• Supporting local marketing initiatives and helping grow the restaurant''s presence within the community.
