Job summary

Escapology in Paramus, NJ is seeking a Venue General Manager who will own all venue operations and deliver unforgettable guest experiences. You’ll lead a high-energy, customer-centric team across front- and back-of-house, shaping the guest journey from check-in to post-visit feedback.

You’ll manage staffing, scheduling, budgets, and performance evaluations, drive operational excellence, monitor metrics, and partner with support teams to maintain top-tier service and profitability.

What You’ll Do

Operational Excellence

• Oversee all day-to-day operations to ensure your venue runs like a finely tuned machine.
• Implement and execute operational policies and procedures that enhance efficiency, service quality, and guest delight.

Guest Experience & Customer Service

• Create and nurture a 5-star guest experience, driving positive reviews, word-of-mouth buzz, and repeat business.
• Proactively address customer feedback and resolve any issues with professionalism and flair.
• Oversee scheduling, staffing, and performance evaluations, ensuring operational efficiency during peak times, seasonal fluctuations, and special events.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement through regular training and continual development.
• Monitor expenses and revenues, and analyze key metrics to optimize profitability.
• Oversee reporting, record keeping, and system management (including scheduling software, POS, and HR tools) to ensure smooth backend operations.
