Job description

Cream City Concepts is looking for an experienced and professional General Manager for our expanding locations.

Our ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with high-volume bar and restaurant management experience. We seek someone who is willing to get involved in all aspects of the operation, including managing food and labor costs, light payroll duties, maintenance issues, scheduling, office work, and delegation of daily duties.

This individual should be skilled in developing and mentoring leadership staff through strong decision-making, effective communication, care, and leading by example. The GM must understand and participate in both BOH and FOH operations. As an expanding company, we are looking for candidates eager to grow and develop with us.

Responsibilities & Expectations:

  1. Oversee daily operations of the restaurant & bar
  2. Manage liquor costing and ordering
  3. Motivate and improve communication among management and staff
  4. Monitor & control labor costs through scheduling, training, and re-training
  5. Delegate tasks effectively to management and ensure efficient workflow
  6. Provide leadership at all organizational levels
  7. Communicate and embody company vision and values
  8. Recruit, interview, hire, and mentor new staff
  9. Establish standards and enforce policies aligned with company values, taking disciplinary action when necessary
  10. Analyze performance, advocate for improvements to enhance accountability, profitability, productivity, and positivity
  11. Lead by example in delivering exceptional guest experiences
  12. Collaborate with district manager, Head Chef, maintenance staff, other GMs, marketing, and event planners
  13. Allocate budget resources for supplies, equipment, marketing, and staffing
  14. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and health codes
  15. Possess prior managerial experience
