Job summary

Sprout LA's Redbird & Vibiana in Downtown Los Angeles seeks an experienced General Manager to lead daily restaurant service and the events program. You will coordinate front-of-house teams, maintain hospitality standards, and work closely with culinary, beverage, and events colleagues to ensure exceptional guest experiences across both dining and special events.

General Manager – Redbird & Vibiana

Downtown Los Angeles

Redbird and Vibiana are looking for an experienced, hospitality-driven General Manager to join our leadership team as we head into our 12th year strong in Downtown Los Angeles.

Led by Chef/Owner Neal Fraser and Chef Jason Bowlin, Redbird is a full-service restaurant located in the historic former rectory of Vibiana, the original cathedral of Los Angeles. Alongside the restaurant, our property hosts a significant private events business, ranging from intimate dinners and celebrations to large-scale weddings, corporate events and productions for hundreds of guests.

This is not a traditional restaurant GM position. We are looking for someone who enjoys the energy of a busy restaurant floor but also wants to be involved in the execution of events both big and small. The GM will oversee daily restaurant service, lead and develop the front-of-house team, maintain our standards of hospitality, and work closely with our culinary, beverage and events teams to ensure every guest experience is executed at a high level.

The right person is a strong floor presence, an excellent communicator and a natural leader who understands food, wine, cocktails and service. You should be comfortable moving from a busy dinner service one night to overseeing a major private event the next.
