DLEÑApresents a modern approach on classic Mexican fare. the concept celebrates “leña,” or firewood, and the nuanced flavors smoke can impart on both its wood-fired food, and smokey mezcal and tequila-centric menus.

The Restaurant General Manager - DLEÑAis responsible for ensuring the success and growth of the restaurant — from staffing and financial performance to innovation, cleanliness, culture, and reputation. The Restaurant General Manager sets the tone, establishes the standards, and inspires the team to deliver memorable dining experiences that exceed expectations.

Requested Tasks
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations (FOH & BOH)
  • Hire, train, mentor, and lead team members and department leaders
  • Establish and uphold service, appearance, and operational standards
  • Partner with the Executive Chef on menu development, product consistency, and training
  • Monitor budgets, payroll, inventory, and financial performance
  • Develop strategies to grow revenue and enhance reputation
  • Engage with guests to build relationships and encourage feedback
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and company policies

  • Prior experience as a Restaurant General Manager strongly preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of both front-of-house and back-of-house operations
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Strong financial acumen, including experience with payroll, budgeting, revenue management, and forecasting
  • Excellent communication skills; professional, personable, and service-driven
  • Proper health and safety certifications required
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to use hands to serve and clear food, beverages, and tableware
  • Ability to bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to smell and taste food and beverages to ensure quality standards
