Job summary

Hickory Tavern in North Carolina is seeking a driven General Manager to lead restaurant operations and a high-performing team. You will set the guest experience tone, mentor staff, and ensure day-to-day excellence while collaborating with leaders across the business.

You will oversee financials, labor, inventory, and policy compliance, driving consistent performance and a safe, positive workplace across FOH and BOH. Strong leadership and hospitality focus are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of restaurant management experience (casual or fine dining).
• Proven leadership and team development skills.
• Strong communication and decision-making abilities.
• Experience with POS systems, restaurant software, and Excel (preferred).
• Understanding of P&L and key restaurant metrics.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
