The Skinny Pancake in Albany, NY is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our fast-casual, mission-driven team. This role begins as Assistant General Manager with a clear path to a full GM position within 6–12 months, focusing on hiring, training, and developing a high-performing team while maintaining hospitality and cost controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of restaurant management experience (with at least 2 years as a GM)
• Kitchen management/culinary experience
• NRA ServSafe Manager preferred
• Onsite availability (5) 8–10 hour shifts between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., weekends/holidays
• Minimum 3 years of experience with P&L statements
• Experience with inventory management, purchasing, receiving and cost control
• Ability to train others and drive hospitality
• Experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments preferred
• Business or relevant degree preferred

The Skinny Pancake, a Vermont-based local food creperie, is seeking an experienced, positive, and proactive General Manager to join our team in Albany, NY!

This role will begin in an Assistant General Manager (AGM) capacity, with the intention of transitioning into the full GM role within 6-12 months. The goal is to provide a smooth onboarding and leadership handoff, allowing our current GM to move into an exciting new opportunity within the company. General Manager Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of restaurant management experience (with a minimum of 2 years as a General Manager)
• Kitchen Management/Culinary Experience
• NRA ServSafe Manager preferred
• Availability to work onsite (5) 8-10 hour shifts between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., including weekends and holidays
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with a P&L statement
• Previous experience with inventory management including purchasing, receiving and cost control
• Ability to learn and train others on all aspects of the operation
• Ability to drive hospitality and inspire others to do so
• Must be able to coach and develop others effectively
• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment is preferred
• Business or relevant degree preferred
