Job summary

Seven Executive Limited is seeking a General Manager to lead a well-established, multi-trade home services business (HVAC, plumbing, electrical). The role oversees two locations with potential for more acquisitions, reporting to ownership who will mentor during the transition.

The GM will drive performance day to day, rebuild margins, and strengthen the sales function while balancing culture with results. A hands-on operator is required.

Qualifications

• Trades background strongly preferred (HVAC, plumbing, and/or electrical)
• A proven operator - turnaround or margin-recovery experience
• Comfortable driving accountability and results, not only culture
• Experience building or scaling a sales function within a home services or similar operating business
• Track record managing a multi-location or franchise-style structure a plus

The Opportunity

A well-established, multi-trade home services business (HVAC, plumbing, and electrical) is conducting a confidential search for a General Manager to lead its next chapter. The company operates across two locations, including a recent tuck-in acquisition, with continued M&A ambitions. Ownership remains actively engaged and will provide oversight and mentoring through the transition, but is seeking a hands-on operator to drive performance day to day.

What You'll Do

• Own full P&L responsibility for a $25M+ multi-trade operation
• Rebuild gross margin and operational discipline without sacrificing service quality or brand reputation
• Assess and strengthen the sales organization, including sales leadership
• Lead a management team through a change in operating style, from a culture-first approach to one balancing culture with results
• Partner with ownership on continued growth, including evaluating future tuck-in acquisitions
• Manage across multiple locations (or, for the right candidate, a strong single-site operator background will also be considered)

What We're Looking For

Compensation

• Base salary: up to $200K
• Bonus: 30–50% upside on goal achievement
• Equity participation available (structure to be discussed; historically ranging from $500K to seven figures)
