A Day in the Life of a Restaurant General Manager

As the Restaurant General Manager, you will ensure profitable, efficient operations. You coordinate daily food preparation, delegate tasks, handle guest interactions, manage cash handling and deposits, maintain inventory, uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards, and oversee hiring, onboarding, training, performance reviews, and scheduling. You will attend monthly management meetings and lead the team to success.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age
• 1+ years of experience in restaurant management
• Valid driver’s license
• ServSafe® or Prometric/NEHA certification
• Strong customer service skills
• College degree is a plus

Experience in fast‑food environments is preferred. Enthusiasm, strong interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to prioritize tasks, and a talent for inspiring others are essential traits for success in this role.

Work Schedule

This is a full‑time position, typically 5 days per week with variable shifts governed by business needs.
