StretchLab is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee sales and operations for our existing studio in downtown Charleston, as well as ramp up the opening of our new studio coming to Kiawah Island.

General Managers are key personnel in the daily operations of a StretchLab studio. From answering phones to being in the field interacting with potential clients and referral sources, a General Manager’s scope of responsibility is varied, fast-paced, and rewarding!

General Manager duties include, but are not limited to:

• Supervise and engage StretchLab studio staff to create a fun, caring, and professional company culture
• Provide leadership and drive development of staff
• Maintain a high level of customer service
• Lead generation including Grass Roots Marketing and Networking
• Schedule and participate in networking/community events and studio promotions
• Manage marketing campaigns to generate leads for the studio
• Coordinate with all vendors, ensuring that studio retail/products are stocked
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fitness studio
• Enforce StretchLab policies and procedures.

General Manager requirements:

• An affinity and passion for wellness and team building
• Ability to work harmoniously with staff, clients, referral sources, and the general public
• Highly organized and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Professional, punctual, and reliable
• 2+ years of fitness sales experience or membership sales preferred4
• Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone, and via email
• High level of emotional intelligence.
