Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily restaurant operations and ensure a consistently exceptional guest experience.
- Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop managers and team members.
- Create a positive, professional, team-oriented culture focused on hospitality and accountability.
- Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, service, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation.
- Manage scheduling and labor to meet business needs while achieving labor goals.
- Monitor sales, food costs, labor costs, waste, and other key performance indicators.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales, improve profitability, and strengthen restaurant performance.
- Ensure proper cash handling, inventory management, ordering, and operational controls.
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally and use feedback as an opportunity to improve.
- Conduct regular training, coaching, performance evaluations, and corrective action when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, health regulations, and applicable employment laws.
- Maintain proper staffing levels and develop team members for future leadership opportunities.
- Partner with ownership and leadership to establish goals and execute restaurant initiatives.
- Build relationships within the local community and support marketing, catering, and community engagement efforts.
- Maintain a strong presence on the restaurant floor, especially during peak business periods.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant management experience required; General Manager experience strongly preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-development skills.
- Experience managing restaurant financial performance, including labor and food costs.
- Ability to coach employees, set clear expectations, and hold the team accountable.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Guest-focused mindset with a passion for hospitality.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain composed under pressure.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as business needs require.
- Knowledge of restaurant safety, sanitation, and food-handling standards.
