Retro Fitness in Bay Shore, NY is seeking a General Manager to own and operate a high-volume club. You will lead a dynamic team, shape member experiences, and drive both membership growth and personal training revenue.

The role demands a people-first leader who tracks labor, sales, and KPI performance while upholding brand standards across service, cleanliness, and maintenance.

Qualifications

1+ year of General Manager or senior leadership experience in fitness, hospitality, or retail.
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue and operational goals.
Confident in coaching, team building, and performance management.
Comfortable owning club-level P&L levers: scheduling, labor control, payroll, and KPIs.
CPR/AED certified (or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire).

Responsibilities

Recruit, train, and coach a high-performing team across Sales, Fitness, and Front Desk.
Lead daily operations to ensure the club is clean, safe, staffed, and running smoothly.
Drive membership growth and personal training revenue from the front of the club.

What You’ll Do
