Job summary

Metz Culinary Management is seeking a Rock Star Food Service Director/GM to lead our onsite dining operations. This role requires a polished, professional leader who can manage front and back of house, drive service excellence, and partner with clients across hospital, school, and corporate accounts.

The Director will set menus, oversee purchasing and scheduling, ensure sanitation standards, and coach a diverse team to deliver superior guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a Food Service Manager role.
• Experience in contract dining (hospital, school, or corporate dining).
• Impeccable communication skills.
• Restaurant management knowledge.
• Thorough knowledge of menu implementation with presentation ideas.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall food service operations and sanitation.
• Institute company cycle menus and recipes; oversee purchasing and scheduling.
• Plan and manage bookkeeping, client relations, and team development.

Metz Culinary Management is growing and we have openings for a Rock Star Food Service Director/GM who shares our passion for Food and Service. This position is a prominent opportunity in a busy commercial kitchen and café operations setting and requires a polished and professional identity and winning attitude from a Director with experience leading a team in all operations. Experience desired in a Contract Dining Food Service setting such as Hospital, School, College, Senior Living or Corporate Dining accounts.

The Food Service Director/ GM has an overall responsibility of food service. He/She institutes company cycle menus and recipes; plans and oversees purchasing, employee personnel programs, scheduling, bookkeeping, customer and client relations; overseas the food preparation service and sanitation; and is accountable for the total operation results. The General Manager reports to Client Administration and The District Manager.
