Job summary

Paycom in Fort Leonard Wood, MO is seeking a General Maintenance Worker in the Roads & Grounds Shop to perform maintenance, preventative maintenance, repair, installation, and upkeep of structures and equipment across trades.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to obtain a military gate pass, and hands-on experience in grounds maintenance, fuel systems, sheet metal, vehicle mechanics, or welding.

The General Maintenance Worker in the Roads & Grounds Shop performs a variety of duties involving the general maintenance, preventative maintenance, repair, installation, and general upkeep of structures and equipment using practical skills and knowledge in a variety of trades.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists in grounds maintenance, tree trimming/removal, fuel systems maintenance, sheet metal shop, vehicle mechanic shop and/or welding shop.
• Will be required to do SNAIR operations.

Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, managers and staff members.
