Position Overview:

This position, under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor or designee, is responsible for non-mechanical maintenance assistance.

Essential Functions:

• Conduct daily maintenance inspections throughout each facility on the complex;
• Report service and/or maintenance needs daily;
• Ensure maintenance tools are secured and monitored;
• Maintain inventory of maintenance materials;
• Facilitate the purchasing process for maintenance supplies;
• Coordinate maintenance services assigned to residents;
• Instruct and supervise residents on material handling safety;
• Participate in mandatory training and staff development;
• Maintain clearance through contracting agencies;
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations or supervisor.

Qualifications and Skills:

Advanced technical training and demonstrated skills in maintaining heat, air, safety, and sanitation systems in a residential facility are preferred.

Knowledge:

Requires comprehensive knowledge of all facility maintenance processes.
