Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a General Maintenance Worker - Apprentice at EASTVIEW INDEPENDENT SENIOR LIVING. You will be a problem-solver and safety promoter, maintaining equipment for optimal performance and keeping areas safe.

The role involves a range of maintenance tasks, on-time shift attendance, and coordination with clients. Training, benefits, and career growth opportunities are provided by Sodexo.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related maintenance experience preferred.
• Holds appropriate license or certification for the city/state of work.
• Must be able to perform diverse maintenance tasks with safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance service or repairs in one or more skill areas, including minor plumbing, carpentry, painting and plastering, machine servicing, electrical repairs or installations, or vehicle servicing.
• Changes: replacing bulbs, installing paper dispensers, changing filters, locks, and other minor maintenance tasks.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

Location: EASTVIEW INDEPENDENT SENIOR LIVING - 57627002

Workdays/shifts: Mornings and afternoon/evenings - varying days, and some weekends/holidays. More details will be provided during the interview process.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $20.00 per hour - $20.00 per hour

What You'll Do:

As a General Maintenance Worker - Apprentice at Sodexo, you are a problem-solver and safety promoter. By maintaining equipment for optimal performance and keeping work areas and others safe, your actions have meaningful impact.

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance service or repairs in one or more skill areas, including minor plumbing, carpentry, painting and plastering, machine servicing, electrical repairs or installations, or vehicle servicing.
• Performs tasks such as but not limited to changing light bulbs, installing paper dispenser units, changing filters, changing locks on doors, minor decorative maintenance and other tasks not requiring a licensed skilled trades person or journeyman
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

• Successful candidates will be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment for all.
• 1 or more years of related experience preferred.
• Holds appropriate license/certification for the specific work to be done in the city and state in which the work will be done.
