Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Senior General Maintenance Worker to support facilities at a large pharmaceutical manufacturing site. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and promote safety while delivering reliable maintenance services.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance service or repairs in areas such as minor plumbing, carpentry, painting and plastering, machine servicing, electrical work, or vehicle servicing.
• Replace light bulbs, install paper dispensers, change filters, locks, and other non-licensed maintenance tasks.
• May train and coordinate work activities of General Maintenance Apprentices/Workers.
• Attend work on time and reliably for scheduled shifts.
• Other duties may be assigned based on client requirements.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $9.00 - $31

What You’ll Do:

As a Senior General Maintenance Worker at Sodexo, you are a problem-solver and safety promoter. Your knowledge and technical skills are critical to meet maintenance needs. By keeping others safe, your actions have meaningful impact.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform maintenance service or repairs in one or more skill areas, including minor plumbing, carpentry, painting and plastering, machine servicing, electrical repairs or installations, or vehicle servicing.
• Performs tasks such as but not limited to changing light bulbs, installing paper dispenser units, changing filters, changing locks on doors, minor decorative maintenance and other tasks not requiring a licensed skilled trades person or journeyman
• May train and coordinate work activities of General Maintenance Apprentices and General Maintenance Workers
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

What You Bring:

• Successful candidates will be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment for all.
• 1 or more years of related experience preferred
• Holds appropriate license/certification for the specific work to be done in the city and state in which the work will be done
• Additional Requirements: Possess a valid driver’s license
