The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) is a trauma-informed care agency. We offer a statewide system of supportive services that focus on ensuring health and safety, supporting access to community participation, and increasing opportunities for meaningful employment. Tiffin Developmental Center is located in northwest Ohio and is home to both adults and youth with developmental disabilities.
What you will do as a Maintenance Repair Worker 2:
The Maintenance Department plays a key role in maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for our residents and staff. We have an 80-acre main campus consisting of 6 residential buildings, support buildings, and outdoor spaces. Example duties include:
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week). Working hours are 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM with an unpaid 30-minute meal break. The schedule includes working every 3rd weekend.

Formal education in arithmetic (addition & subtraction) and English (reading, writing, speaking); 6 months training or experience in maintenance repair (electricity, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, use of tools); or equivalent qualifications. This classification is considered unskilled labor and is exempt from written examinations.
