The Minnesota Department of Administration seeks a General Maintenance Worker in St. Paul.
You will perform custodial tasks, routine cleaning, and basic repairs in state facilities, primarily within the Capitol complex area, with a day shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Applicants must have knowledge of flooring maintenance, familiarity with commercial cleaners, ability to operate cleaning tools, and a valid driver’s license.

Join our team of dedicated maintenance staff today! Custodians are responsible for maintaining clean and safe State buildings in and around the State Capitol Complex in St. Paul. Their duties include routine maintenance such as sweeping, dust mopping, vacuuming, emptying waste and recycling bins, cleaning restrooms, and more. Positions are ideal for hard workers that enjoy self‑directed work while still being part of a team environment.
Successful candidate must pass pre-employment physical.
Physical Demands: Work Performance Testing (WPT). Job involves exerting up to 20-35 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 6-20 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 5 pounds of force constantly to move or lift objects.
