The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and at least five years in maintenance, with OSHA 10 preferred; on-call work may be required.
Fortis Native Group is hiring a full-time General Maintenance Worker for our Southern California contract supporting NAVAL BASE SAN DIEGO. The General Maintenance Worker performs preventive and corrective maintenance, repairs, and work orders on facility buildings, including HVAC equipment, roll-up doors, fire protection systems, generators, pumps, motors, lighting, and related equipment. This position supports daily facility operations by responding to service calls, completing scheduled maintenance, maintaining work order documentation, and ensuring all work is performed safely in accordance with company policies and contract requirements.
