Sodexo is seeking a General Maintenance Worker at Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington. This full-time, on-site role involves performing maintenance tasks across multiple trades, from carpentry and plumbing to electrical work and vehicle servicing.

You will ensure safety and reliability while supporting a positive, collaborative team environment. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of related experience, hold the necessary licenses/certifications for work in IL, and possess a valid driver’s

• Hold appropriate license/certification for the Work to be done in the city/state.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Perform maintenance service or repairs in one or more skill areas (minor plumbing, carpentry, painting/plastering, machine servicing, electrical repairs/installations, or vehicle servicing).
• Change light bulbs, install paper dispenser units, change filters, change door locks, minor decorative maintenance; tasks not requiring a licensed tradesperson.
• Attend work and show up on time for scheduled shifts with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts per business needs.

General Maintenance Worker

Location: ILLINOIS WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY - 55267008

Workdays/shifts: Varying shifts, days/hours (open availability preferred). More details will be provided during the interview process.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $16 - $19

What You’ll Do:

As a General Maintenance Worker at Sodexo, you are a problem-solver and safety promoter. Your knowledge and technical skills are critical to meet maintenance needs. By keeping others safe, your actions have meaningful impact.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform maintenance service or repairs in one or more skill areas, including minor plumbing, carpentry, painting and plastering, machine servicing, electrical repairs or installations, or vehicle servicing.
• Performs tasks such as but not limited to changing light bulbs, installing paper dispenser units, changing filters, changing locks on doors, minor decorative maintenance and other tasks not requiring a licensed skilled trades person or journeyman
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

What You Bring:

• Successful candidates will be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment for all.
• 2 or more years of related experience
• Hold appropriate license/certification for the specific work to be done in the city and state in which the work will be done.
• Additional Requirements: Possess a valid driver's license
