Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a General Maintenance Worker in Louisville, KY. You’ll be a problem-solver and safety advocate, performing maintenance tasks across plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical work, and machinery. The role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and keeping people safe.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related maintenance experience.
• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to perform plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical, or vehicle maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs across multiple skill areas.
• Change bulbs, replace dispensers, change filters and door locks.
• Attend shifts on time with regularity.
• Complete other duties as required by the account and client needs.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $20 per hour - $27 per hour

What You’ll Do:

As a General Maintenance Worker at Sodexo, you are a problem-solver and safety promoter. Your knowledge and technical skills are critical to meet maintenance needs. By keeping others safe, your actions have meaningful impact.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform maintenance service or repairs in one or more skill areas, including minor plumbing, carpentry, painting and plastering, machine servicing, electrical repairs or installations, or vehicle servicing.
• Performs tasks such as but not limited to changing light bulbs, installing paper dispenser units, changing filters, changing locks on doors, minor decorative maintenance and other tasks not requiring a licensed skilled trades person or journeyman
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

What You Bring:

• Successful candidates will be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment for all.
• 2 or more years of related experience
• Hold appropriate license/certification for the specific work to be done in the city and state in which the work will be done.
• Additional Requirements: Possess a valid driver’s license
