Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a General Maintenance Worker to support maintenance needs at the Saint-Gobain HQ in Malvern, PA. The role requires reliable, team-oriented individuals who can perform a range of trades and safety-focused tasks during morning and afternoon/evening shifts.

Responsibilities include basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical work, and related tasks, with emphasis on punctual attendance and adherence to site requirements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience.
• Hold appropriate license/certification for the specific work to be done in the city and state where the work will be performed.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance service or repairs in areas such as minor plumbing, carpentry, painting and plastering, machine servicing, electrical repairs or installations, or vehicle servicing.
• Complete tasks like changing light bulbs, installing paper dispenser units, changing filters, changing door locks, and other minor maintenance not requiring a licensed tradesperson.
• Attend work and report on time for scheduled shifts with regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and vary by account and client requirements.

Workdays/shifts: Mornings and afternoon/evenings - varying days. More details will be provided during the interview process.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $20.00 per hour - $20.00 per hour

What You’ll Do:

As a General Maintenance Worker at Sodexo, you are a problem-solver and safety promoter. Your knowledge and technical skills are critical to meet maintenance needs. By keeping others safe, your actions have meaningful impact.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform maintenance service or repairs in one or more skill areas, including minor plumbing, carpentry, painting and plastering, machine servicing, electrical repairs or installations, or vehicle servicing.
• Performs tasks such as but not limited to changing light bulbs, installing paper dispenser units, changing filters, changing locks on doors, minor decorative maintenance and other tasks not requiring a licensed skilled trades person or journeyman
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
