Job summary

The Donohoe Companies, Inc. is seeking a skilled General Maintenance Worker to perform maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment at a large government facility in Arlington, VA.

The role requires practical skill across carpentry, painting, mechanical, plumbing and electrical work. You will work Monday through Friday on the 1st shift, replace electrical components, operate and maintain CRAC units, and support general systems as directed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years general maintenance experience.
• Must be certified Libert or Stulz CRAC units to include DDC controls or obtain within 6 months.
• Experience in carpentry, light electrical, light plumbing, painting, and mechanical buildings systems.
• Must pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all general maintenance, upkeep, and repair of all mechanical systems.
• Performs general maintenance and repair of the building.
• Replace electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors.
• Place or remove systems and equipment as directed.
