Job summary

McGrath RentCorp is seeking a Field Service Technician for a Monday–Friday dayshift in a finance-oriented role. The position involves troubleshooting and maintaining modular equipment in the field and at the branch, with duties across plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, electrical and more.

You will train customer employees and ensure safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Local travel to customer sites with daily driving and occasional overnight stays is required.

Qualifications

• Prior construction-related experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate with customers regarding work status.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, repairs and construction across plumbing, carpentry, painting, flooring, HVAC, roofing and electrical.
• Ensure safety, quality and productivity at customer locations.
• Maintain inspection logs for equipment/vehicle and report exceptions.
