Job summary

UG2 is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to perform a range of facility upkeep tasks in our New York area operations. The role covers installation of partitions, flooring, furniture, drywall patching, painting, and preventive maintenance of equipment.

You will work with building systems, door hardware, plumbing, and roof and sprinkler inspections, ensuring safety and reliability. Three to five years of relevant experience and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Three to five years experience as a general maintenance mechanic in a commercial/industrial facility.
• Ability to perform carpentry related tasks.
• Capable of plumbing repairs and maintaining facility equipment.
• Familiar with surface preparation and painting drywall, wood, and metal surfaces.
• Ability to effectively communicate and respond to customer needs.
