QubicaAMF Worldwide, LLC is seeking a General Maintenance Mechanic to inspect, install, and maintain electrical systems, machinery, and equipment in our Virginia facility. The role requires journeyman-level electrical experience and a preference for a state license, with on-call duties every 6–7 weeks and a 45-minute commute.
Daily responsibilities include preventative maintenance, HVAC coordination, and assisting with fire alarm and security systems while supporting production needs and safety
The General Maintenance Mechanic inspects, installs, and maintains electrical systems, machinery, and equipment. Ensures all work performed meets safety codes and is properly inspected. Use a variety of tools or equipment. Has at least two to three years of journeyman-level electrical experience. Typically requires a state electrician license. They also assist with day-to-day preventive maintenance, office moves, building, grounds, and equipment installation projects. Performs maintenance service and repairs in plumbing, carpentry, painting, pneumatics, and machine and electrical servicing for the organization’s facilities.

The work environment characteristics described here represent those employees encounter while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a warehouse environment with elevated noise, dust, and activity. This is a non-temperature-controlled warehouse where temperatures can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. There is frequent exposure to moving parts.
Physical ability is essential in this position. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk, stand, talk, or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must be able to climb ladders to extreme heights and occasionally lift and/or move items over 40 pounds.

$25 - $35 biweekly
