Tencate Grass is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to install, analyze, maintain and repair mechanical and electrical production equipment. You will work with production and engineering to meet maintenance requirements and ensure reliability.
Responsibilities include diagnosing malfunctions, performing corrective and preventive maintenance, reading schematics and PLCs, and training others as needed. This onsite role requires strong problem-solving and communication skills.
1.1.1. NOTE: Each pay level will be evaluated by the Lead Maintenance Technician on the basis of certification, experience, as well as education at the discretion of the Lead Mechanic.
2.1. Install, analyze, maintain and repair all type of mechanical and electrical production equipment. Work closely with production and manufacturing engineering to meet requirements for comprehensive maintenance support.
3.1. Analyze information from work orders, observation, verbal information from supervisors and operators, manufacturer manual, schematics, prints, and other sources to maintain equipment diagnosing and correcting malfunctions. Includes corrective, preventative and predictive maintenance.

4.1.1. Self-starter and motivated to work with minimum of supervision. Assume responsibility for attainment of all standards.
4.1.2. Uses independent judgement in diagnosing, planning, repairing and maintaining all type of equipment including the selecting and ordering of the tools and materials to complete work.
4.1.3. Competent to effect machine and electrical repairs.
4.1.4. Uses excellent technical interpretation and communication skills in understanding basic machine design, electrical circuits, electronics, electromechanical devices and PLC (including theory and practical application).
4.1.5. Reads and understands blueprints, ladder logic, technical specifications, sketches and verbal instructions to effect repairs on production equipment.
4.1.6. Uses appropriate precision measuring instruments, PLC programming terminals, electrical test instruments and other tools as needed.
4.1.7. Trains others as required
4.1.8. Performs other duties as directed by Supervisor / Lead. D
4.2.1. High school diploma or equivalent. Technical degree in electronics / electrical maintenance.
4.2.2. Strong oral communication skills and interpersonal skills
4.2.3. Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
4.2.5. 5 years' experience in Industrial multi craft maintenance and electronics repair preferred.
4.2.6. HVAC, plumbing, hydraulic pneumatics preferred
4.2.7. Experience in equipment maintenance, repair of plant equipment.
4.2.8. Valid driver’s license.

6.2. This is an onsite job and is NOT remote. Regular and predictive attendance is mandatory.
7.1. Must be able to stand / walk 100% of shift, must be able to work rotating shifts.
7.2. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. as required.
7.3. Required to stand for long periods of time (12 hours shifts).
7.4. May involve repetitive motions.
7.5. May also engage in frequent bending stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling or parts and containers.
7.6. Due to the open environment, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold.
